This section contains questions that have been asked via email that may be useful for others.

Q. When do I get my T-Shirt?

T-Shirts will be given out prior to the event at the National Stadium prior to the event.

PLEASE NOTE: T-shirts are not printed to order. One size fits all.

Q. Where are the designated bus terminals?

Provision has been made for BRT Bus to transport all registered runners from the following zone/area. They are as follows Iyana-Ipaja, Ojodu, Ojuelegba, Mobil (Sandfill), Ajah, Oshodi, Ojota, Mile 2 and National Stadium Surulere.

Q. What type of drinks will be provided at the support stations?

Water

Q. What is the distance of the Half Marathon?

The Half Marathon is 21.098km.

Q. Do I wear my number on the back or front?

You must wear your assigned number high on the front of your vest or shirt. The number must be visible throughout the race.

Q. Where can I leave my clothes?

All registered runners must come to the start point with their kits on.

Q. How do I find out my finish time?

The provisional results for all runners allocated timing chips will be posted to the official web site by 7:00pm on race night.

Q. Where do I go at the finish venue if I need help?

There will be an information tent located in a prominent position and clearly marked that will be staffed to assist participants on completion of their event.

Medical
Lagos State Emergency ambulances will be located at regular points along the route and each Support Station will provide first aid if required. A full medical clinic will be at the finish.

If you have a medical condition that could cause you difficulties during or after the race, please first get clearance from your doctor to participate in your event and also notify us in writing prior to the race.

For your safety, it is advised that you do not participate in the event if you have had a fever or cold in the past week, or have a hangover, as these can contribute towards heat exhaustion, dehydration, or life threatening heatstroke.

Q. Where do I find out about training advice for the event?

Refer to the pages on the web site under the heading ‘Training Tips’ for all your training advice, programmes, lead up events, nutritional and hydration needs.

Q. Where are the Support Stations on the course?

An extra Support Station has been added to the Half Marathon course so there are now 6 Support Stations including the one at the Start for the Half Marathon and at the Finish and 12km for the Marathon.

Support Stations will be located at approximately 4km intervals along the route. Each Support Station will include water and medical facilities.

Signage will be placed 200 metres prior to each Support Station.
